SUMMARY - Updated Daily

Total time lost (TTL) to date for typical Sunshine Coast commuter ...

FARES_FAIR'S NOTES:
QR do remarkably well, especially given the infrastructure they have to work with, and their people are second to none (mostly - except where pax aren't informed on issues)

Any early arrivals are subtracted from the total time, even if only 1 minute early whilst late arrivals of less than 2 minutes are not added to these times.
These times are NOT rounded up, and must pass the 2:00 mark up to 2:59 to be recorded as 2 minutes late.

Toilets: should I accidently neglect to check their status, it is assumed that they are working and in order.

TTL (Total Time Lost) signifies the total amount of lost time experienced by a train commuter.

This is the time that has to be made up by employees whose Manager's do not accept being regularly late as within 'on-time performance.'
To the employer it is 'off-time performance,' that has to be made up.

*Palmwoods ...
Home of the shortest passing loop from Brisbane to Cairns, a distance of around 1669km.
This passing loop is just 683m long and can accommodate a freight train no longer than 650m, according to a joint (commonwealth/state) government study.
Another economic bottleneck.

It directly results in more trucks traversing our national highway from Brisbane to Cairns... which can and do kill people from time to time.
Not deliberately of course, but accidents happen - big trucks collide with cars and cars collide with big trucks - that could be on rails.

Major delays early in the month are impacts by copper theft disruptions, boarding disruptions lasted 3 weeks until 24 August.
Thefts had occurred over many months - endangering people's lives should a fault or earth leakage have occurred.
Major double delay events of Tuesday 14 August included in these figures (though I was on an annual leave day).

Total Time Lost (TTL) 50 MONTH AVERAGE (to end SEPTEMBER 2015) = 113.2800 minutes (1 hour 53 minutes 17 seconds) This figure has generally been reducing each month as a result of greatly improved reliability.
It increased in November 2013, January 2014, November 2014, March 2015 [12 seconds] and May 2015 [9 minutes 8 seconds]

Toilet Facilities Available 45 MONTHS (to end SEPTEMBER 2015) = 8.5% or 138x in 1633 journeys had toilets that were out of order or locked or not on my train :thsdo 
91.5% of my peak hour trains had working amenities.

In the 8 months (from January 2012) there were 75 'out of order' toilets in 286 journeys                        = 26.22% failure rate.
In the following 12 months (from September 2012) there were 39 'out of order' toilets in 422 journeys  = 9.24% failure rate.
In the last 12 months (from October 2014) there were 16 'out of order' toilets in 451 journeys              = 3.55% failure rate.
As can be seen by my statistics of just the trains I catch, on-board services have significantly improved.
