Any one have any information on when the Go Card Web Site will be UP?

Since the system went "live" and the pilot forum has been taken down there are no none nill zilch communication from Translink.

Seeing as the service so often charges incorrectly it would be nice (read as imperative) to check transactions.

Then there is only being able to load credit in cash or savings account from a machine, no credit card which has been promised to be available from the website.

Not sure Crouchg,  bit sad if the pilot participants have not been given communication guidelines.

I will send off a request to TL later today, but often our requests are not answered   ::)
But I will try.

Cheers

Good work Bob - we can but ask.

It is obvious this website has had an impact at some higher levels within some public transport organisations which is a credit to you and others who regularly post on the site.

Keep on putting requests through - although as someone who is familar with public sector organisations, I find it difficult to comprehend the lack of engagement back from the single lead agency who is charged with the sole responsibility of public transport in the SEQ ??????? and given they have in the recent history been given another blanket mandate to control public transport in SEQ this is even more perplexing.

Is it the model which may be broken, or the individuals at the various helms? Is it still an issue of interagency politics (translink, qld rail, citytrain, brisbane city council, bus companies etc) which hinders proper responses to valid requests for information or properly researched and integrated solutions to PT issues??

Response received from TL, thanks!

Advice received is that TL is in the process of setting up credit card top up functions for registered Go Card users.  This facility will be available through the call centre in the coming weeks and through the Go Card website when the card is launched.  The card will be launched by regions, and the dates will be released shortly.

So there you go!
