Online fare adjustment is now available at the go card online facility.

Log in to 'my go card', click on enquiries tab, under card holder enquiry.

Great!

Media Release 22 June 2010

SEQ:  Go card improvements for registered users welcome

RAIL Back On Track (http://backontrack.org) a web based community support group for rail and public transport and an advocate for public transport commuters has welcomed the addition of an online facility for registered go card users to report an incorrect go card fare, and to transfer balances to another go card.

Robert Dow, Spokesman for RAIL Back On Track said:

"The new online capability for registered users to seek fare adjustments for their go cards is a great move.  This will reduce the time spent on seeking adjustments and reduce administrative overheads.  It is another reason why users are better off registering their cards."

"Registered go card users simply log in to their 'my go card' online account, click on enquiries tab,  and under card holder enquiry are the additional functions."

"Registering a go card allows for easy viewing of transaction history of go card use, implementation of auto top-up if desired, easy checking of go card balance and top up if needed, and provides a measure of security for funds should a go card be lost."

"The provision of an online fare adjustment claim is a great step forward!"
