Changes to Milton train station access

Last updated: 4.38pm Tuesday 19 February 2013

From Thursday 21 February, some small changes will be made to the Railway Terrace entry at Milton station for "The Milton (FKP)" Transit Orientation Development works.

The current entry stairs from Railway Terrace will be demolished.

Temporary stairs will be installed for the duration of the project (due to finish in late 2015, weather permitting).

Train services will not be disrupted, and customer access from Milton Road and the lift from Railway Terrace will remain open.

Good to see the TOD happening.

But why is this topic in the timetable forum?

But why is this topic in the timetable forum?

It is a timetable announcement ...   there is stuff on the TOD thread from memory about this.

??? What train times are changing?

According to the Translink page its a just one of those general "service update", and the page has plenty of non timetable related things, like the opening of Northlakes bus station,  the SEQ Bus network review, the lift outage at glasshouse mountains and so forth.

No, train times are not changing, hence the post.

We post closures and similar things in this area ...  look at the topics.

It is useful to know because the changes could confuse some  .. and as the project proceeds I expect more disruptions from time to time.
