Good news today that the line through to Cairns is open again but for the moment no Rocky Tilt services because of the extensive damage to the overhead through Bunderberg.
Possibly as a stop gap a loco hauled set of Lander sitting cars could substitute as did while the tilts were overhauled.

That has been suggested but apparently the length of overhead that is out creates difficulties in this case.

Tilts have been heading to Bundy over the past few days in service.
