Deutsche Bahn iPad app: sets a standard Aust rail operators can only dream about

We are shortly off to Berlin for a white Xmas, so naturally I searched for a DB app. There it was, and what an app it is! I've not seen anything so easy to use, transparent and informative in travel planning before. Seven choices of ICE, IC, even an S-bahn option from Frankfurt Flughaven (though why one would choose that...) to get to Berlin, starting between 6.40 and 8.45  including an IC all-stopper with no change of train.

If anyone has seen a better one, I'd love to know what it is and what it's for. I'd imagine other operators are using a similar design, at least I'd hope so.

Anything for Australian intercity travel would, of course, be virtually empty due to lack of services to put in it.

But for international travellers, apps like these are great.
