Interesting how strongly clustered around railway lines the high PT mode share actually is.  You can also make out the 200 + 130/140/150 corridors.

Not so obvious around Ipswich though.  Which is interesting, because the census was taken after the timetable update.  Perhaps that's influenced by Ipswichites working in Ipswich who have a p%ss poor rail service even in peak hour. 

Surprisingly high PT share at Bulimba - I guess that's ferry users.

Chart doesn't show north of the North Pine River.

Wow usage of the Ferry at West End and UQ is dead! Shows how much an impact the BUZ199+Cityglider and the Eleanor Schonell Bridge have had on ferry use!

It shows that we have pretty well failed in delivering a "sustainable" transport system that has been the goal of successive transport plans at all levels of Govt!!

I think the floods knocking out the ferries forcing passengers to find alternatives may have done it.
