At Queensland Rail, customers are a priority. Without customers, there is no business. Queensland Rail makes it its business to ensure customers are central to everything it does. Annually there are more than 260,000 scheduled services providing commuter services for the South East Queensland, connecting the regions of the state, and taking domestic and international tourists to some of Queensland's world famous locations. Customers' needs are wide and varied, so Queensland Rail actively encourages feedback to help understand what is important to them. The company strives to set new standards of excellence in customer service with a vision to be "the heartbeat of our growing state".  The fundamental purpose of the organisation and the value it creates for shareholders and stakeholders is through the delivery of a safe, customer focused and efficient railway.

It must be.

This is right up there with the 'world's best treasurer award'. What matters is the court of public opinion and QR are failing dismally there.
