Papers (brochure, draft Strategy and technical papers) - http://www.goldcoast.qld.gov.au/draft-transport-strategy-2031-brochure-12202.html

There's a shot of me on page 19 of the PDF here - I had asked to be noted as a RailBoT member but they thought it would be best to not show any affiliations from me or any of the other photographees: http://www.goldcoast.qld.gov.au/documents/bf/draft-transport-strategy-2031.pdf

It looks like they have changed their minds on some of this stuff - the Bundall light rail link (do not like) is still in there, and the Elanora option has gone back to being a "kink" in the main line rather than a branch.  I will be clarifying some of this with them when we talk next.

All except the olympian which they did make the connection; but we all know your great connections!

What I was disappointed about is the burying of detail about a committment or urging of the state to duplicate the heavy rail choke of single track between Coomera and Helensvale.

All their talk of suburban services, extra stations etc, will not work if there is not dual track the whole length.

I found only 8.10, p59 of Part D of the technical report supporting duplication. (oh and SR on page 63  :-t )
