When you look at the rolling stock available for standard gauge, you realise the bespoke equipment that needs to be ordered years in advance for operation on QR mainline track (narrow gauge).  Looking at the above ^, I wonder what advancements could be made on the Tilts, which are the fastest trains on narrow gauge.  Full foaming, if Qld were to have an inter-regional train set specifically for inter-regional travel (Brisbane to Beaudesert, Toowoomba, Flagstone, Maryborough, Coolangatta) what would be its operational requirements?
