Currently, if you are getting off this bus heading south and want an Ipswich Rd service you have a short walk to the express stop.  However, in the other direction it's a longer walk and requires crossing Ipswich Rd.

It also results in a very low visibility of this option for reaching Fortitude Valley.

Agree, Simon. Connections should be made as seamless and convenient as possible. Often you have to walk around a corner to make a connection where routes intersect and go in different directions, but in the case of the 475/476 which arrives at and departs from the PA Hospital in the same direction as the 100/110/115/117/124/125, you shouldn't have to.

I'm not very familiar with the area, but looking at Google Maps and the express stop locations, maybe the 475/476 should go south on Ipswich Rd, (L) Cornwall St, (R) Emperor St for the layover, (R) Juliette St, (R) Ipswich Rd?

Yeah, I think that is the only real way it can be achieved.

You could also go anticlockwise around the loop I just described, and use the existing Route 202 stop as a terminus/layover.

How do you figure?  There's several one way streets involved, and you can't turn right out of Tottenham St.

Oops, forgot about Juliette St being one way. How about south on Ipswich Rd, (L) Cornwall St, (R) King St, (R) Juliette St, (R) Emperor St, terminate/layover at existing 202 stop just south of Cornwall St, (L) Cornwall St bus lane, (R) Ipswich Rd? Otherwise you'll have to put a new stop for the terminus/layover on the eastern side of Emperor St.

Seems like it would work.  But I think your original suggestion was better.

BTW, I'd rather fix this properly and connect RBH & PAH via the Story Bridge.  Otherwise there will still be a sizeable walk from Ann St to Brunswick St stops 211/212 at least in one direction.  Also, there would need to be northern routes via Valley in more number than there should be and Rainworth doesn't need to be connected to PAH with a single seat.

But small fixes are still worthwhile.
