Toowoomba Range shut due to truck rollover

A truck rollover has forced the closure of the Toowoomba Range for the next several hours.

Light vehicles should divert through Murphy's Creek or down Herries Street, a police statement said.

Heavy vehicles will need to detour through Warwick or postpone their journey.

The range is expected to be closed for several hours.

This once again highlights the need for a decent rail crossing of the Toowoomba Range.  Where is it Premier/Minister for (lack of) Transport?

Nice video, thanks.  Would be nice to see 1500m trains travelling west (and north!) of Brisbane.  That level crossing looks a bit bumpy though, or is that normal?

I am going to suggest that the fact this keeps happening is equally evidence of the need for the Toowoomba Bypass.  Both are needed, although Gowrie-Grandchester rail first would be preferable.
