SEQ: 200 bus route better via Chatsworth Rd

RAIL Back On Track (http://backontrack.org) a web based community support group for rail and public transport and an advocate for public transport passengers calls for the 200 bus route to be sent via Chatsworth Rd.

Robert Dow, Spokesman for RAIL Back On Track said:

"Given that the Old Cleveland Rd part of the service is now covered by the 222, the majority of RAIL Back On Track members believe that the 200 bus should serve limited stops on Chatsworth Rd to improve the coverage of the BUZ network (1).  Currently, this part of suburbia is only served by the milk run route 202 bus and the 203 bus covers some of the east."

"There is a need to have a reasonable speed service along Chatsworth Rd.  This can be done quite cheaply in this case, and Old Cleveland Rd would be no worse off than it was before the 222 became full time."

"Public transport must be fast and frequent, then it will be utilised as the BUZ experience has shown."
