Now that the 180 service is a BUZ, would be good to see a stop added immediately prior to entering/leaving the busway using the stop on on Cornwall/Juliette Sts between Earl St & Norman Ck.

This would free up the 120 service which stops currently at Earl St approaching/after Juliette St and is caught at 3 traffic lights outbound. The 120 could use the access to the SE Busway via the Victoria Tce gates as planned in 1998.

I think that entrance is closed, so it would have to re-opened.  There might be a lot of reluctance to do so.  I'd wonder about sight lines for entering, for one.

There is a kay wire fence gate across to stop cars mistakenly entering the busway as it was open for years after construction in anticipation of re-routing that was promised to the local community but never undertaken.

On a related subject - wouldn't the works depot next to Greenslopes Busway make a fantastic BT depot!  Be a good way of cutting down on dead running...

Yes, the Energex depot at Barnsdale Place. Energex of course prize that location as a strategic asset, so don't think it'll be moving.
