Changes to Gold Coast event shuttle buses

From Tuesday 1 November, event shuttle buses to Metricon Stadium and Skilled Park will no longer operate from Pacific Fair Shopping Centre.

Instead, buses will leave from Victoria Park, Broadbeach on the Gold Coast Highway.

Unsurprising.  Pac Fair/AMP Capital was probably driving this to stop parking spaces being blocked up with stadium patrons.  Anybody who has been past Robina Town Centre will have noticed the very prominent "No Stadium Parking" signs at each car park entrance.

Ultimately this is a better spot for interchanging from GC Hwy services as you catch all of them in one place and it is right next to the layover area.
