Hi all, just wandering what your thoughts on a N150 service would be?

I have caught the extra 12:20 service many times on Friday and Satruday nights, each time its packed, with full standing loads from QSBS. I think the demand would be there for a N150, and even though the train services Runcorn and Fruitgrove, there's only 1 or 2 services.

A completely new service wouldn't be necessary, the 111 could be extended to browns plains or at least Runcorn., and the N150 could stop at all busway stations and continue on the 150 Route from Eight Mile Plains Busway.  Brisbane's second busiest bus route needs a nightlink service!

I've spoken to Translink and got the response of "Translink assesses new services blah blah blah" but in reality I think this nightlink service would be worth it!

I believe this has been discussed elsewhere.

I support the move.  There is probably no reason for a separate N111 when the N555 performs the same role.

You could either just mirror the 150, or send it via Eight Mile Plains and Miles Platting Road instead of via the ATO/depot stop.

I also support the move, and I'd add that I don't think there is any reason to worry about the 8 Mile Plains stop.  It's served by the N555 and does anyone actually use it?

People do use it. Whether it needs to have both the N111 and N555 I'm not sure.

I agree there should be an N150. I'd also be keen to hear why there isn't, it's one of the most popular routes in the entire region and I see no reason to believe this wouldn't apply to a NightLink as well.

I actually think all BUZ routes should have a corresponding NightLink, unless they're proven air parcels. This is supposed to be the "core" bus network, it should be safe to assume you can catch a bus late at night too.

It doesn't.  If the city-Indooroopilly corridor can live with one Nightlink bus route, so can this stop.

Probably if the N150 were implemented many current users wouldn't use it any more.
