Go Card Roma Street Platform 3 query

Hello all,
           Just a quick question. I'm going on the ARHS Steam Tour to Swanbank on the 5th April, if I touch on at Sandgate and leave the train at Roma Street. I'm assuming the Steam Train is departing from platform 3, is there anywhere to touch off on platform 3? Because I won't be exiting the station.

Hi Kent!

You will need to go through the normal exit gate touching off  and re-enter the station showing the excursion ticket is my guess.
