1. Ugly as sin compared to busway stations
2. Why would you completely rebuild a station on a curve?  :-\

I dont get why we dont build rail stations identical to busway stations. Nice tiled platforms, full coverage of the platform.

Pretty sure it comes down to design standards. Pretty sure TMR has standards for a busway station that say fairly explicitly what certain things have to be adhered to in terms of appearance.

The major issue with Darra is the lack of water bubblers on platforms one, two and three ....  :P
