Sunbus Strike - Friday 27th May

Seems things hasn't been resolved at the recent mediation discussions.  Strike scheduled for this Friday 27th May, with possibly more to come.

Sunshine Coast bus services suspended Fri 27 May

No Sunshine Coast Sunbus bus services will operate on Friday 27 May due to industrial action.

Services will resume as scheduled on Saturday 28 May.

Passengers are encouraged to plan ahead:

    Make alternative travel arrangements (consider car pooling, walking or cycling)
    Parents should make alternative arrangements for students who catch Sunshine Coast Sunbus services to and from school.

Students who catch a dedicated school bus route, run by BusLink, are not affected.

Notice given of new timetables being implemented on June 6 this morning on our service,
along with the quiet car announcement.

No mention made of the bus strike due tomorrow.

Last time announcements were made on the day before the industrial action. This was appreciated.
They still have this afternoon I guess.
