Platform Interface?

I saw a sign for train drivers approaching Eagle Junction today that read, "Platform interface testing ahead."

Does anyone know what this could be?  Could it be the system they're gonna use for CRR stations to stop the train in the right spot to align with the platform doors?

No, it's to do with platform clearances at different heights.
