Inquiry urged into 'poor' rail infrastructure

Independent Senator Nick Xenophon is calling for a public inquiry into rail infrastructure.

The Australian Rail Track Corporation is under fire for letting the main east-west rail line deteriorate to such a degree that at least one freight carrier is favouring road transport.
