Walking/running down Musgrave Rd looking for route P88, I saw a bus one bus length back from the stop, with a closed door and no driver in the seat.  Checking the time, I saw it was one minute after the timetabled departure.  Assuming that the bus at the stop would depart in 14 minutes, I headed up to Indooroopilly interchange B.  While waiting there, the P88 went by.  VERY annoying.  Anyway, a short time later I grabbed a 425 and changed for a 170 at the Cultural Centre.

What is with the refusal to serve Indooroopilly B with the P88 heading towards Eight Mile Plains?  I understand the part where it terminates at stop 24 on Musgrave Rd as that allows a reasonable layover location.  In fact other terminating services (105/106/108/414/415) could do so also.  I can only suggest that they believe that if it isn't serving the interchange on the outbound, it can't on the inbound.  Perhaps it is the same reason for the refusal to adopt the via Skew St portal AM peak inbound routing of the via Indooroopilly expresses.

Mediocrity.  It is clear that the Brisbane planners still don't get it.  There is also the multitude of city stop locations for services via Indooroopilly/Toowong, Garden City, Kelvin Grove Rd, Logan Rd, Ipswich Rd, Old Cleveland Rd, Stanley Bridge, probably some others I can't think of right now.  It's not appropriate to allocate stop locations based on the profile of the service, but based on the corridor they are serving.

I'm planning to raise this with TL, but it isn't very nice I guess.  Not convinced it should be toned though.
