Yes indeed, you can read about it here:

Taking aside the wild embellishment on behalf of the person responsible for this advertisement I suppose you can say that the attraction for public transport options is so high that potential "porkies" about the PT availability appear to be fair game.

QuoteThere are plans for a City Cat ferry station at Graceville about 8 minutes away

WHAT???!!!  :-w  ???

BCC has consistently ruled out CityCats going anywhere upstream of UQ St Lucia/Dutton Pk.
I think there might be a case for extending the CityCat to Yeronga purely on access grounds to get to UQ, but beyond that the case becomes very weak.

Pretty clear breach of the Trade Practices Act and the Property Agents and Motor Dealers Act there. I've half a mind to report the agent.

Hey wait a minute- what about all those agents that claim "close to public transport".

Doesn't that usually mean less than a 10 minute drive at 3am?

Having said that, the idea of a CityCat to Graceville is ridiculous.  Dutton Park I could have perhaps fathomed before the ESB was constructed but I no longer see the point.  There might be an argument for cross-river ferries further down though, e.g. Bellbowrie - Riverhills.
