Community members will be appointed for an initial 12 month period with membership then reviewed on a 6 monthly basis, and then reviewed, but always at the discretion of Council.

•   Meetings held at a minimum of every 2 months
•   Location - Eddie de Vere Building, Nambour, Large Committee Room

Length of meetings to be approximately of 3 hours duration (from 9am to 12 midday) Meetings to be held on week day with a morning start Items for the agenda can be submitted up to 7 days prior to the meeting. An agenda will be compiled and distributed at least 3 days prior to the meeting. Representatives can submit items at any time to the nominated contact point for consideration by the chair for inclusion in the agenda Administration support will be provided by Council. Minutes will be taken and distributed Meeting to be chaired by Chair of Integrated Transport Systems Portfolio or nominated alternate by the Chair. Total membership is expected to be between 15 to 20 persons A quorum shall consist of the Chair (or alternate), two council representatives and four community representatives

So rather than being a community meeting, it will be a meeting mostly for old people or whatever that don't have jobs  ::)

At least QR have the right idea and have their CRG meetings so you can get to them after work.
