It's coming to Brisbane!
I wonder if they will set the registration prices sky high?
Maybe they would be willing to do a deal with non-profit community groups to allow access to it?

Just like an airline needs to get a base load of passengers to make a particular flight viable (by offering discount seats to travel agents and then putting up the prices gradually as the plane fills up and demand increases), maybe there could be a 'discount deal' for RailBOT members, with a threshhold of, say, 50-75 take-up for the discount to apply.  The discount ticket could exclude entry to the conference dinner perhaps.  We could have sandwiches and a thermos meal on the lawn outside.

I'm happy to draft something. They might still charge a fee and limit the number of people who can access this way out of fairness.
Surely there is enough space in the conference hall and perhaps we could offer to do some media releases about what we saw there as well.

I'm happy to see if I can write something and see how it goes.
