Well, maybe not swim, but I'd just like to say regards the current difficult conditions re the floods:  Everyone out there, doing their best in extremely difficult circumstances, including those bus drivers still operating deserve a BIG  :-t

Whilst I can understand service restrictions, I hope public transit managers do realise, one of the benfits of buses is a degree of flexibility in route and timetable operation - flexibility which obviously ferries and trains don't enjoy to the same extent.  Whilst clearly all services must be conducted from a fundamental basis of SAFETY - let's hope bus services can keep rolling for as long as possible - because as the days drift by, travel will become more necessary for people and  :bu 's can pick up some of that burden - where safe and possible!  Very Best Wishes to All at this challenging time!
SEQ, where our only "fast-track" is in becoming the rail embarrassment of Australia!   :frs:

Those courageous bus (and train) drivers deserve a big round of applause for keeping a few services running, despite major difficulties. I was surprised yesterday afternoon when I saw a 203, 204, 200 and 184, diverted via Stones Corner, headed outbound at 5pm, long after Translink said BT services were winding down. Wooloogabba Busway remained open. An impressive effort!
