Capalaba park 'n' ride

These are the types of places where I believe car parks and P&Rs do belong. People in areas where PT is not viable can drive to the park n' ride and travel by PT to the city or nearest employment node. I agree with comments about paying for parking, provided it isn't too expensive such that people drive to the CBD instead.
I am worried about the bike locker fee though. Sustainable transport should be free and encouraged, funded by the fee on car parking.

Depends how the bike locker fee is done though. I know QR's bike locker fee is reasonable. You pay a $50 deposit for the key, which is to cover you losing the key and them having to pay to replace the lock. You only pay it once, and you get it back when you return the key. Simple and makes common sense. If they were providing showers, etc for cyclists though, then it may make sense to include an ongoing fee as they would require cleaning.
