We have 111/160 and 555. Why not get rid of two of them??

Short story is different operators. But I would agree it should be looked at.
There is no silver bullet... but there is silver buckshot.
Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

The SE busway is being extended to Springwood so it would make sense.

I've also got real issues with having so many Griffith Uni & Garden City starting services while the first two services keep their current termini.

Wow, I'm impressed with the improvement of the 555.

With the 555 almost a "BUZ", canning the 160, then perhaps making the 111 stop at QSBS would make the most sense.

The 111 would then no longer stop at KGSBS if it were to stop at QSBS.  QSBS is setup as a terminus not a throughfare, you cannot stop there on the inbound while going to KGSBS.

Given there is a depot right next to where the 160 starts and or terminates. Would it not make sense to keep the route to soak up what would otherwise be a dead running bus?

The city stop location doesn't make sense though.

Which is the reason the 160 exists in the first place. If it was canned - and buses ran blank back to depot - the same people would be on here complaining its a wasted opportunity.

Why not just run them as 111s???

This may be true- I don't know, but other depots (for example, Larapinta or Richlands) I do not see buses going to the depot as services.
They just dead run..

Eventually all the way to Loganholme, not planned until 2020 though.

#Metro

Eventually it looks like it will go to Beenleigh? I wonder if that is really necessary though, same with north of Chermside... What is wrong with the rail lines for this kind of job???

Larapinta and Richlands aren't exactly big population centres.

There is still no PDF timetable for both routes 555 and 572 on the TL website for these changes!
