The basic idea of integrating PT in SEQ is a great idea, and overall, PT has improved a good deal in the last decade. It is really heartening that the first new schemes for expanding the rail network are going ahead, although not fast enough, and northern busway is all good, too.

The main problems are the fare structure, and poor response to complaints, feedback, and fare adjustments. I suspect this has a lot to do with over bureaucratization, but don't know the internal workings of the system well enough to know for sure.

5/10.  Go Card is good, rollout has been botched.

Service frequencies & timetable planning are still pathetic, as is service co-ordination.

Big gains in patronage mainly reflect integrated ticketing and rising cost of motoring, and have occurred in spite of TransLink's efforts, not due to them.

Some improvements seen this year.  New website design is a step forward (despite the multitude of coding errors).
