Generally quite good. Frequency 15 minutes for a section.

15 minute frequency must be increased all the way to Ipswich station.
Better integration with buses at Indooroopilly (construct bus interchange) is required.

9/10 for the Ipswich Line in 2010? :o I think a local state MP or senior Translink manager/executive must have voted.

Maybe they live near Darra? Trains every 4 minutes (or was it 6 minutes?) coming to a station near you :D :-t

But the increase in frequency is not till the new timetable is rolled out in 2011.  This is for 2010, the Ipswich line has had the worst ontime peak performance for all lines and probably out of peak as well.  There have been necessary but very frequent track closures (one this evening from Corinda to Roma St for example) for the track amplification and other upgrades/maintenance works.  But we still love the Ippy, it is the line that could, those coal wagons pound it a bit but slowly being sorted.  I hope they have chocolate chip muffins at Richlands when it opens .. and there has not been muffins at Darra either.  This is a very sad situation,  but work continues it might rain muffins at the end of the year?

As Oxley is a busy station it would be nice  to see some of the 6 min services.  Buses 101,102,106,467 and 468 all bring in passengers to oxley station
