Inner Northern busway closure and diversions

On Sunday 17 October from 8.30am to 11am Normanby, QUT Kelvin Grove and RCH Herston busway stations will be closed to all services due to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation "Walk for a Cure".

The following inbound and outbound routes will divert from the busway and travel on local streets:

    * 330 (Bracken Ridge to city)
    * 333 (Chermside to city)
    * 340 (Carseldine to city)
    * 325 (Boondall to city)
    * 345 (Aspley to city)
    * 359 (Albany Creek to city)
    * 390 (Mitchelton to city).

Alternative busway stops:

    * Royal Childrens' Hospital - inbound and outbound services will use stop 8 on Herston Road (opposite Royal Childrens' Hospital busway station)
    * QUT Kelvin Grove - services will use the 'Kelvin Grove Cityxpress' bus stop outside Red Rooster on Kelvin Grove Road
    * Normanby - inbound services will use 'Normanby stop' (Countess Street) and outbound services will use 'Normanby-Petrie stop' (approaching Mountjoy Street).

What I find interesting about this is the guys over on the Bus Forum are not going off about the Inner Northern being shut down. You should have a look at the load of cr*p they posted about the south East shutting down for the brissy - Gold Coast bike ride.
