What flavour muffin is preferred?

Guided feedback may help in the overall quest to quell commuter rage whilst waiting for the next train.

In Melbourne ice-creams have been given out at times of 'stress' .. together with the ubiquitous bottles of water ..

Queensland has its muffins!  Yo!  Do you think an assortment of flavours might be cool?

I'm a chocolate with chocolate chips guy myself.

Looking forward to the rollout of a Muffin Upgrade Zone (MUZ) service in my area, with muffins provided every 5 minutes in peak and no less that every 15 minutes offpeak.

This is big.  Everywhere there are muffin and train links!  Crikey ... I thought it was just south-east Queensland and poor train frequency and muffins. No sir, muffins are huge in the train world!

Eg.

Orange train muffins  http://piginthekitchen.blogspot.com/2007/11/orange-train-muffins-egg-free-dairy.html

Train muffin pan http://buy-minimuffinpans.com/shaped-cake-pan/train-muffin-pan

Bit of a crisis, no muffins on the German ICE trains (there was apparently) --> http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/european-rail-travel/719620-1st-class-ice-trains.html

Even on youtube! Muffin the locomotive!

Actually this would not be a bad idea. QR could strike a deal with companies promoting chocolate bars, muffins etc and give it to commuters in the morning rush hour as required. There are lots of companies launching food products who are looking to get people interested / sampling things and do one offs like this.

Conditions:
- Be completely free
- Be non-reoccurring

I once got a free museli bar while walking out of South Brisbane Station by a promo team.
Not bad eh?

When I was doing the daily regular commute I often picked up samples at either Roma St or Central on the way through. All sorts of things from yoghurt to biscuit bars.  None of it particularly healthy but now and again ok I guess.

Obviously, chocolate chip muffins would be a big winner!

The promo people know their demographics though, we used to get the V/Red Bull people all the time around exam time on campus. We also had a whole week where we had a Nescafe stall set up giving out free flavoured coffee. You had to spend 5-10 minutes in a line to get the coffee, but it was worth it... mostly because it was free.
