I also value not having to endure unnecessary dwells at stations or running more slowly than necessary between stations!

Well you would have loved my Ferny train last night, it got to Central early, but just left 7 minutes ahead of schedule.

Frequency is more important to me. If its frequent, then theres no worry if you train is running late or even cancelled, there will be another along shortly.

For the record, I wouldn't love that at all.  I'd rather the fat be squeezed out of the timetable.
