In spite of it having issues, I don't want to go back to the old system.
No, me neither. This one looks better and is easy to use.

Sounds like my wireless connection to the network here at home.  Will lose contact with the router after a random amount of time, or after inactivity and the only fix is to reset the computer.   It's a network issue, I know, but have been unable to solve it thus far, which for me is plain annoying.

This is new, might be working on it ..

QuoteError 503--Service Unavailable
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.5.4 503 Service Unavailable

The server is currently unable to handle the request due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. The implication is that this is a temporary condition which will be alleviated after some delay. If known, the length of the delay may be indicated in a Retry-After header. If no Retry-After is given, the client SHOULD handle the response as it would for a 500 response.

Ours used to do something similar, but it was an issue on the router (not the wireless part either) end, not the computer. It got to the stage where even turning the router off and on again rarely worked and our connection was at the whim of the router gods. After talking with our ISP's tech support, the end conclusion was that it was an old (in computer years) router and was starting to fail, so we replaced it and everything worked fine.

Some routers (including BrizCommuters old Netgear router) have dodgy firmware, which cause wireless or ADSL dropouts. BrizCommuter has not a single problem since purchasing a Billion router for more than a year ago.

red dragin

Had the same problem with dlink, netgear, billion & telstra routers.

Donation to council (bin :)) and a new router fixed it every time.

Set in train

Many SE Busway ticket machines are incapcitated to some extent eg. won't vend cards, won't take notes/coins/both, won't print receipts. Maintenance is slipping. This has been the case for the last 6 weeks.

Quote@squashedpeaches: @QueenslandRail @Robert_Dow go gates down at ferny and told not to touch off, but interchanging at Bowen hills, tap on there?
@QueenslandRail: @squashedpeaches hi & thanks for passing this on, however, you're best to enquire with @TransLinkSEQ re. the specifics of go card system.

There is a lot of confusion concerning go card for many, particularly when things start to go wrong.  With the 'fare evasion blitz' no doubt in my mind that innocents will be caught up in the efforts as well.

TransLink should fix them automatically when there are known system issues.
