Queensland Rail
Thanks, haven't seen that before.

No worries.  Here is another photograph showing NGR 718 and Queensland Rail desto a little bit clearer, and EMU 86 departing Darra.

On the 10:02 ex Ferny Grove service this morning. Wrong-roading through Grovely and Oxford Park. Back to the correct side at Mitchelton.

No sign of any track work.

Some punters looking rather confused on platform 1 at Grovely...

Believe that is 63/77. Have heard they are being kept 'if needed' due to poor NGR supply.

Due to a points failure at park road. My Cleveland train sat at park Rd for a while, then proceeded to Dutton park to use the southern leg of the triangle to head towards cleveland

Quote92 - ROBERT DOW, COMMUTERS' VOICE
He is the travellers' champion who is not afraid to railroad politicians to get the best result for the public.

The Goodna grandfather is founder and administrator of RAIL Back on Track, an online website and forum for commuters which is followed by tens of thousands of people.

Passionately pro-public transport, he holds governments and operators such as Translink, Queensland Rail and Brisbane Transport to account over reliability, frequency and affordability as well as policy and infrastructure planning.

He has been a constant thorn in the side for Labor and LNP governments but his knowledge and enthusiasm is recognised and respected by politicians on both sides, as well as bureaucrats.

Mr Dow has had plenty to get his teeth into in recent times with the QR "rail fail" and the debacle over the dozens of Next Generation Rollingstock trains needing modification to make them fit for use after arriving from the manufacturers in India.

First of the to be retired units. Not officially withdrawn yet as they are being stowed there should there be any issues with the ngr or should they be needed for service ie damaged rollingstock.

Saw EMU 13/61 heading BNE bound. The poor pid at the front can't take so many letters. It just pulled into p1 at wollowin
186(?) Looks to have landed quite a large unofficial paint job
Also it looks like 37 and a friend are now sitting in the northern yard
(Edited edit)
Saw the legendary EMU60 for the first time(maybe) heading for Ipswich
Do I really need to clarify?
Sarcasm and rhetorical questions don't translate perfectly into written form, do they?

A couple EMUs have made it onto airport runs today. 84/85 took over the duties for an issue with one of the other units around lunch time today.

The electric tilt train went through Yeronga today.

winning courtesy of QR trains running early  :P

Need to get from Caboolture to hemmant. Train scheduled to arrive 2.42 @ northgate...exactly when inner city train scheduled to leave.
Gave a thumbs up two guards who are WELL aware of the essentially pointless connection gap..
Thanks to that early running I can connect nicely @toombul to the GCL without needing to go into the city....saving me 25 minutes of waiting at Toombul/northgate or 15-20 mins of going into the city and back out  :lo :bu

Funny how not long after this was made public they saw fit to send an email to employees after about 6pm

SurfRail

What were the employees going to do, just not turn up for work?

Looks similar to the cladding surrounding Central Stn (above go card gates). Another reason for the delayed upgrade perhaps?
