From 7.50am to 3.20pm Sunday 22 November, scheduled track work will occur on the Caboolture Line.

All services between Lawnton and Bald Hills stations will be replaced by bus services.  Normal train services will run from Bald Hills to Brisbane City.

Darra station - inbound platform temporary closures - effective 13 March 2010

Darra station inbound platform (platform 4) will be closed for upgrades on the following weekends:

   * Saturday 13 March to Sunday 14 March 2010
   * Saturday 27 March to Sunday 28 March 2010
   * Saturday 3 April to Sunday 4 April 2010
   * Saturday 17 April to Sunday 18 April 2010
   * Saturday 24 April 2010.

Shuttle buses will take all inbound passengers from Darra to Oxley station for rail connections to Brisbane City and other lines. go card holders please touch on at Oxley. Passengers should allow an extra 10 minutes for connections.

Passengers travelling to Darra station from stations between Rosewood and Gailes can catch shuttle services at Wacol station. go card holders please touch off at Wacol.

Outbound passengers will not be affected by this closure.

The platform will be closed to ensure passenger safety while while structural steel installation, concreting, roofing and electrical work is taking place. When completed, this work will provide improved facilities for Darra station customers.

Bowen Hills to Corinda track work

     From 11pm Saturday 31 July until 4.50am Sunday 1 August, all trains in Brisbane City will be replaced by buses.

     Buses will stop at all CBD stations, with northbound trains departing from Bowen Hills station.

     Buses will stop all stations between Bowen Hills and Corinda stations. Connecting train services to Ipswich will depart from Corinda.

     This closure will allow for signalling upgrades in the CBD.

Why are trains not reversing at Roma Street? As far as I'm aware, trains cannot reverse at Central, so it's an odd place to terminate services.

      On Sunday 25 July, all trains between Yeerongpilly and Banoon stations will be replaced by buses.

      Buses will stop all stations between Yeerongpilly and Banoon stations. Connecting train services to Brisbane City will depart from Yeerongpilly station. Connecting train services to Beenleigh and Varsity Lakes will depart Banoon station. Buses will run directly from Banoon station to Brisbane Airport.

      This closure will allow for bridge works between Salisbury and Coopers Plains, resurfacing and resealing the Boundary Road level crossing at Coopers Plains, and overhead line maintenance.


Merivale Bridge temporary closure

      From 11pm Friday 2 July until last train Sunday 4 July all trains between Central and South Brisbane train stations will be replaced by buses while Merivale Bridge is closed for track work.

      Buses will stop all stations between Central and South Brisbane stations, with connecting train services to Beenleigh, Cleveland and Gold Coast from South Brisbane station.


Kingston to Kuraby track work

      From first train until 6.00am Sunday 27 June, all trains between Kingston and Kuraby train stations will be replaced by buses.

      Buses will stop all stations between Kingston and Kuraby stations. Connecting train services to Brisbane will depart from Kuraby station. Connecting train services to Beenleigh will depart from Kingston station.

      Delays of up to 30 minutes may be experienced. Guardian Train services may be affected during this track closure.

Petrie to Gympie North track work

From 8.30pm Saturday 17 July until 6.30am Sunday 18 July, all trains between Petrie and Gympie North stations will be replaced by buses.

Buses will stop all stations between Petrie and Gympie North stations, with connecting train services to Brisbane City.

This closure will allow track and overhead line maintenance between Petrie and Gympie North.
