Diversions, delays inbound: Pacific Motorway

Buses inbound from Logan City to Brisbane are diverted and delayed due to an accident on the Pacific Motorway northbound near Watland Street.

Buses will not operate on the Pacific Motorway between the Hyperdome and Springwood - they will divert via Nujuloo Road and the service road to Springwood and rejoin the motorway there.

Inbound buses are delayed 15 minutes at this stage. Outbound buses are not affected.

Brisbane CBD bus delays

Buses throughout the Brisbane CBD may experience delays and are being diverted due to a police incident in the Queen Street Mall area.

Queen Street Bus Station (at the Myer Centre) is closed until further notice.

Buses are no longer stopping or driving through Queen Street bus station.

Buses are terminating at Cultural Centre busway station and King George Square station respectively. There are NO services operating between these two stations.

Buses are also not stopping on Eliazbeth and Adelaide streets, between George and Albert streets, or on George Street near the Queen Street Mall.

Customers should consider delaying their travel.

The live coverage on Channel Nine showed buses turning right onto North Quay. I think when they say shut down QSBS, they meant it.

They've shot him (in the shoulder apparently?) and he's since been taken to hospital in an ambulance, so I expect this to reopen shortly. TL website still has it shut.

Ah so they actually got around to shutting the QSBS. They said earlier that buses were still operating between the two stations but not stopping.

Why is P339 even on that list for starters? It's not even a route anymore. It was cut in preference for more 335s and then brought back in to replace the N330 due to confusion caused in the city.

The funny thing is radio jocks are reading out that there are delays to the buses and giving out examples from the list ... like school buses and the loop buses ...

The 623 is my favourite one on that list.  I think it's popped up elsewhere recently, long after ceasing operation (between Nambour and Coolum...)
