These delays are now causing flow-on effects to other bus routes across Brisbane, particularly the northern suburbs.

The South East Busway - between Cultural Centre busway station and Queen Street (Myer Centre) bus station - inbound is especially heavy.

Weather my ass. The 680's are always delayed in arvo peak. Just stand on the corner of Zillmere/Gympie Roads. Would be better to get them to duplicate the 340 along Graham Road and then resume its route on Beams Road as it would bypass all the traffic stuck on Gympie Road.

Story Bridge closure delays

The Story Bridge is currently closed in both directions by police.

Buses heading south will divert via the South East Busway and Vulture Street, then continue normal route.

Buses heading north towards Fortitude Valley will divert via the city, then continue normal route.

Customers should expect delays and consider alternative transport, wherever possible.
