STAGNATION DRIVE! >:D

It just keeps happening! One per week I think!
Build an interchange at Indooroopilly, run more trains and transfer non-BUZ services to rail!

Coronation Drive is a shocker every Friday PM peak, heading inbound.  Don't pay as much attention to outbound.

The 553(LCBS) service that I caught on Wednesday and today at the hyperdome were delayed by 25 minutes. No notice of the delay - had to wait 25 minutes to find out. I understand its the holidays for some people but TransLink knows this as well and hasn't done anything about it. I emailed TransLink months ago about this(this has been happening for quite a while) and their response:

"TransLink has developed the TransLink Network Plan (TNP) to improve public transport across South East Queensland (SEQ). The outcome of the plan is to have a four year rolling program of improvements and the current updated version is available from the TransLink website at http://www.translink.com.au/networkplan.php

Although a further response may not be possible TransLink Network Planning Group will consider your comments regarding the route numbers that you provided in the next review of the TNP"

In other words, they don't particularly care about these services at this time. I think something should be done. :bu :bu :bu

Buses get delayed for all sorts of reasons, but I'm guessing this one is always chronically late?

Wow,  just looked up the TL website, that bus has horrible frequency. Hourly!

ClintonL94

IMO during holidays/peak these local routes should be 30 minute frequency. If they are running 25-30 minutes late on a hourly frequency thats a bus every 1 hour but 30 minutes late. Because usually that same bus driver will do that route again(vis versa) they have to have at least a 5 minute break. Which makes the route even later. Also passengers not have money ready to pay the driver etc..

Sooo, let me rephrase that one: "There is no point in talking to us because we won't do anything for up to 4 years."

ClintonL94

Bit of a disappointment, I pay extra for fares and I am not benefiting anything out of it, except I wait longer for the delayed buses and give other people extra services.

Certainly did, I voted No on the first day.

Fares_Fair

Hello Clinton94,

I muffed up the original poll under the Sunshine Coast thread, and it was removed after 2 votes.

So if you were the second person to vote (I was the first)
please revote in the poll in the new location under the Open Forum.

If you have already voted in the Open Forum located poll, no need to do so again.
Thank you,

Regards,
Fares_Fair.

TL need to update their database of which routes use Milton Rd.  425/430/435/450/453/454/460 no longer touch it.

I suppose there is a bigger issue with the whole way that they create these lists.  Any route which touches the road in question is listed, so it seems.

Buses diverted due to localised flooding

A number of buses have been diverted due to localised flooding throughout Albion, Breakfast Creek, Windsor and Herston. Passengers can expect significant delays.

Is the busway flooded?  I can't think why the 66 would need to be diverted.

Me neither, there would be a whole raft if the the busway was flooded.  Maybe something to do with the turnaround at RBWH?

True, that is down by the creek there, but wouldn't all the other buses that go through the RBWH busway station have to be diverted to seeing as its jsut a round about?
There is no silver bullet... but there is silver buckshot.
