What's wrong with waiting 60 minutes for the next bus? But then again I am from the northside. Home of the 60 minute or worse bus frequency. Nambour even has a better frequency than some of the routes up this way :P

I know HTG, we are the privileged ones at Goodna.  Heck, our station can swim too!

Plus we have the razzle dazzle to cool our cares waiting for the next bus, and if we miss the bus/es, we can always get the courtesy bus!   :P

What the 639?  :hg :-r

http://translink.com.au/sites/default/files/assets/timetables/131125-639.pdf

Seriously though, the 610 is probably the only "trunk" route servicing the area (half-hourly Mon-Fri and hourly on weekend), the others are either rail feeders (630/631) or hourly milk runs (612, 636).

120 minutes!    :fp:

A bit shocking. James is about to go out and face the bus network. At this point in time, walking looks like a more attractive option. Most likely going to take the first bus which comes and make a bee-line for a railway station.
Is it really that hard to run frequent, reliable public transport?

The 6.37pm route 411 bus inbound has been cancelled due to late running as a result of heavy traffic congestion. The next inbound route 411 bus departs UQ Chancellors Place at 7.10pm.

Assuming you just missed the 5:30pm bus, you could have walked (or used your segway ;D) all the way from Adelaide St Stop 40 to most stops on the 411 route and still beat the following service (6:45pm) to your final destination.

Pathetic! Absolutely pathetic! FUZ 411 would fix this, but no, send ALL the buses to the CBD!

Saw a broken down inbound 345 with passengers huddled around it on the footpath today on the way home from work. Surprisingly not for the first time. It would be good to see these stats published as well. IMHO there should be a weekly PT report into its services. Trains, buses, ferries. The lot.

On a side note, looks like Roma St Stop 138 would have been very busy this morning!

As I understand the 335 is always delayed as a result of going via Fortitude Valley to RBWH.

Not uncommon to see that during peak hour. The 330 also picks up quite alot of passengers from Zillmere station aswell.

Actually we now have a new route to pick on which beats even the great circle for unreliability. This afternoon between 4-6pm @ Kirby rd I noticed 2 outbound 335`s more than 20 minutes late!
Spoke to a lady (on my inbound 335) who catches it regularly and she also said it is a very unreliable route. She also says Fridays are the worst days and requested frequency upgrades on the feedback period for the TL review.

In between webster rd,gympie rd,valley....this route cannot be trusted at peak hour. Luckily this route serves its purpose as a single seat service to the city. Seems to get very good loads at peak from Chermside. Did translink propose anything new for this route? Surely must have been better than whats going on at the moment.....

It would be nice if they gave more information on these bus cancellations. ie are they cancelled at the start of its route or is it a mid trip cancellation. Or even by adding something along the lines of "The 5.50pm route 335 inbound bus has been cancelled due to heavy traffic conditions experienced by the outbound 4.XX route 335 service". I also had a laugh at the bit at the bottom. "Customers are advised to use alternative transport, such as trains, where possible.". That might be a valid option if the northside had a proper integrated public transport network instead of the mess of hourly, scenic tours via every street services buses and half hourly train services.

If anything how p%ssed  would you be if you used the 335. It's an hourly service  :yikes: :yikes: :yikes:
