Yay! Finally!
Will there be fare gates at Cultural Centre, rather than people?

"Communication breakdown". Really?
"Proposing high fares". Seen petrol prices lately?
"BCC wants no integration with the translink network." Right... and I was born yesterday.

If the above is true, the State Gov needs to clean out their ears. BCC has been really responsive- Auditor General's report is evidence for that.

Sorry to rant, but I find it so hard to believe that two government agencies- so skilled at communication, budgets, reports, press conferences, election campaigns, emergency management, media releases/spin and employing large quantities of highly trained and skilled people specifically in that craft can't walk 600m down George St and avoid "communication breakdowns". :-r

At such short distance, even two cans and a string would suffice for communication purposes.
Negative people... have a problem for every solution. Posts are commentary and are not necessarily endorsed by RAIL Back on Track or its members.

They call it politics, neither side actualy cares abpot the public but believes that if they decry the actions of others that they have to do nothing themselves.   :pr :)

Ah yes, ol Can Do and BCC would run the State if they had their way, and have a bit of a mindset that they in fact do, when obviously they don't.  This is just vote grabbing for Can Do and his team, it's plainly obvious.  It's a scary thing when the Mayor has more power than a Council CEO who is not meant to take sides in politics, but in the BCC's case, this is the sad truth.

BCC has always played the standover bully with the state and surrounding councils on public transport.  In BCC's case it's their way or the highway.  I would not be surprised if BCC has kept the Cityglider project hidden from TransLink's (State Government) eyes, despite the media releases saying the opposite.
