It is was a nice moment coming in on the early bird from Oxley (5.55am Bowen Hills) this morning.

Cool morning, hop into a nice warm EMU (49), snug,  relax, admire the rising sun over a stirring cold clear metropolis vista as we tracked in from Milton ...

Ah, some of the pleasant virtues of train travel - the scenery and gentle comfort (when seated).  Sunsets aren't bad either.

The 07:19 from Enoggera is usually more like struggling to find somewhere to hold onto, whilst squashed like a sardine on a train lacking in working air conditioning.
