Using Go Card GPS with Real-Time Google Transit Maps

I have noticed that other cities are using the GPS systems on their buses/trams (trains should not need it as the service should be on a 3-5 min frequency) to create Real-time Google Transit Maps that show the exact location of the bus/tram on the route and the stops, etc.

there was an article about this  in mx last week and it is actually being investagted for brisbane

It doesn't need to be investigated, Translink just needs to cough up some cash to get the IT guys to figure out how to get the info from current format into Google Transit.

Easy.
