Sunshine Coast Line (timetable admendment - effective Apr 14).

A stealth timetable change to one of the inbound services  . This effects the 11:11am Nambour - Caboolture ICE shuttle.  No annoucements or changes on the Citytrain website

Departs Beeburrum 11:54 (previously 11:52), Departs Elimbah 11:59, arrives/terminates Caboolture 8 minutes earlier at 12:07pm (previously 12:15).

Edit: Makes me wonder why timetable planners did not resolve the crossing issues in one re-write.  The 4:57pm Nambour-Central service still has a 10 min buffer at Elimbah (which should be eliminated by now).

During the planning and construction phases it was advertised that the new line would make travelling 3 mins quicker on the North Coast Line.  Why hasn't there been wholesale timetable changes to reflect this??

It would be naive to expect service improvements after an infrastructure improvement. Enoggera and Gaythorne had a service reduction after the Ferny Grove Line had an infrastructure improvement last year. Not that I'm bitter and twisted over it!
