Take it onboard, blindfold it, march it off at the next station and shoot it more like.

Bemused more than amused.

The organisation doesn't have the ability to deal with feedback, it's almost like directing a diner's feedback about a steak to the cow.

I'm really starting to wonder if this 'congestion on the network' excuse really means something else?

Like DGAF?

^ Did QR close a track pair through the CBD again?

I asked QR that very question.  They did not respond.  You know why?

See below.  NGR door issue, covered up with the ' congestion on the network ' crap.  They really are getting to be slime balls hey?

Not surprised about QR covering things up.

Now about that video...it looks suspiciously like the exact one that was doing the rounds last time there was a  news report on NGR door issues.

ozbob

Yo, is the footage from the much viewed earlier problem.   TV news often does that sort of thing.

But at least we know what really was going as to the delays.

QuoteHi Queensland Rail,
There's a bunch of us stuck at Windsor after the Caboolture train changed to a Ferny Grove without notifying anyone. Please send up to 20-30 taxis

QuoteYes that's correct. I spoke with many passengers who had to get off at Windsor and no one received an announcement.

A lady mentioned to the train guy (mid train) and he shrugged his shoulders and said he just started his shift at Bowen Hills

QR social media team response.

QuoteHi ***, our team have advised that announcements were made at Milton station. We understand that these alterations can be frustrating and do apologise. We recommend hopping on the 6.09pm service from Windsor to Bowen Hills and then boarding the 6.23pm Redcliffe train to Geebung. Thank you.

The so called TEAM was spinning them BS as there were 2 other seperate confirmations from passengers @ toowong that they didn't hear a darn thing.

the original poster as well as:

QuoteI boarded at Toowong as well - no announcements were made. I've private messaged messages you.

QuoteI also boarded at toowong and can confirm no announcements were made

Passengers might as well be wearing earplugs when QR cannot do something as basic as communicating properly to passengers.

if there was an onboard announcement they all would have jumped off....and if the station masters were communicating properly they wouldn't have jumped on.

QuoteHi Translink interested to know how a train from Ipswich to Caboolture ended up on the Ferny Grove line last night? It was the 511pm from Toowong (that was running late). ALOT of confused passengers and I would hate to think how many with headphones in didn't realise until further down the track. Told the employee at Bowen Hills he was quite rude said 'No no you made a mistake dont make same mistake again' despite there being 20-30 people saying Yes it did happen and you can check my gocard history as proof. Did you change the train at CBD and forget to tell the people already on the train? Or switch the signals sending Ferny Grove to Caboolture and Caboolture to Ferny Grove? Would have been nice for an announcement! No announcement when we were delayed between stations either. Added an hour to my commute home. Would appreciate a response explaining what happened and a refund.

people who were affected want answers and to at least be treated with a little respect by QR staff.

The 7.28 am Manly to central runs express, but apparently the chances of that are 1/2000 if IRC from Mark Bailey's interview with Steve Austin yesterday?
