Track Work: Delays 12 mins, CBD

All train lines are delayed up to 12 minutes both directions between Roma  Street and Bowen Hills stations due to scheduled track maintenance.

They tried to convince me this was essential work despite the fact it doesn't happen in Perth, Sydney or Melbourne where there is zero operational redundancy of the kind we have with 2 separate track pairs accessible by every train coming to or going from anywhere else.  How do the other systems manage to conduct inner city maintenance?  Sydney can't just shut down the City Circle during the day.

still delays....the 1.52 ferny grove didn't leave roma st till 2pm....these are time gaps just enough to wreck a 362,398,397 or 367 rail-bus connection.
As for that Caboolture service.....it would have needed to make up 5 of those 11 mins or else the 640 bus driver would have had to leave 5 mins late.
