Trains Suspended: Gold Coast - Airport, Beenleigh - Ferny Grove

Beenleigh, Ferny Grove, Gold Coast and Airport line trains are suspended both directions stations due to a Bridge strike at Moorooka and Park Road station. Customers can expect delays of up to 30 minutes.

Bridge inspectors are en route.

No alternative transport has been arranged.

Sure that the entirety of these lines were not suspended. Lazy customer information.

11.37am Central-Nambour train delayed 10 mins

The 11.37am Central to Nambour train is delayed 10 minutes due to scheduled track maintenance.

Queensland Rail reliability, particularly out of peak, has become very unreliable.  Punters (those that are left) just have suffer the circus.
Low frequency rail services, low frequency bus services, connections are critical to avoid long waits and extended journey times.

Queensland Rail do not seem to comprehend that connections are broken when they do these things such as shutting down the subs or mains during the weekdays.

I had one of my most frustrating moments on the QR network during one of these 'part closures'. My Ferny Grove train arrived on Platform 7, while a Doomben train waited to enter service just prior to Platform 9. We arrived at P7. The Doomben line train proceeds into Platform 9, then leaves before us, meaning our train has to wait an additional 3 minutes on top of the 2 minutes we'd already been waiting. WTF?

I enjoyed the delay though, it gave me 5 minutes to contemplate how it would have been faster to go home and get my than travel direct UQ -> Park Rd -> onwards on the rail network.
