Two trains cancelled, operational issues

Due to an operational issue, the following trains on the Airport line have been cancelled:

    The 2.42pm Roma Street to Domestic Airport train has been cancelled. The next Varsity Lakes to Domestic Airport train departs Roma Street station at 2.57pm.
    The 3.19pm Domestic Airport to Roma Street train has been cancelled between the Domestic Airport and Bowen Hills station. The next Domestich Airport to Roma Street train departs the Domestic Airport at 3.34pm.

that train arrives into landsborough 8:28 for 8.33 connection to 615/605
it is then 3 hours to the next buses out of landsborough (11.33)
leaving a 2.5 hour wait....

At the request of police, Sunshine Coast line trains are suspended in both directions between Nambour and Caboolture stations. Customers can expect delays of up to 60 minutes.

Alternative transport are being arranged to transport customers.

COMMUTERS north of Brisbane face a long journey to work this morning after services have been suspended when a train collided with a car parked across the tracks.

The incident occurred at Landsborough station on the Sunshine Coast, and the resulting closure affects both north and southbound services between Nambour and Caboolture.

"At the request of police, Sunshine Coast line trains are suspended in both directions between Nambour and Caboolture stations," Translink said on its website. "Customers can expect delays of up to 60 minutes.

"Alternative transport are being arranged to transport customers."

A police spokesman said emergency services were called to the railway crossing on Caloundra St in Landsborough about 4.45am after the northbound freight train stuck the unoccupied sedan.

"It pushed the vehicle down the track about 100m," the spokesman said.

A Queensland Ambulance Services spokeswoman confirmed crews attended but said no patients were treated.
