Trains suspended between Sherwood and Milton station

At the request of police, Springfield and Ipswich line inbound trains are suspended between Sherwood and Milton stations, and will travel express between Corinda and Roma Street stations

Outbound trains will run all stations. Passengers travelling from Corinda to stations between Milton and Sherwood should travel to Roma Street station and transfer to an outbound train.

Customers can expect delays of up to 60 minutes.

As a result, the following services have been altered:

    The 2.39pm Springfield Central to Bowen Hills train has been cancelled. The next Springfield Central to Bowen Hills train will depart Springfield Central station at 3.09pm.
    The 2.03pm Roma Street to Caboolture train is delayed 15 minutes. This train is now due to arrive at Caboolture station at 3.25pm.

Following an earlier police incident, Ipswich and Springfield trains have resumed in both directions between Milton and Sherwood stations. Customers can expect residual delays of up to 10 minutes.

As a result, the following services have been altered:

    The 2.39pm Springfield Central to Bowen Hills train has been cancelled. The next Springfield Central to Bowen Hills train will depart Springfield Central station at 3.09pm.
    The 2.03pm Roma Street to Caboolture train is delayed 15 minutes. This train is now due to arrive at Caboolture station at 3.25pm.

According to QR's FB page someone was hit by a train at Indro.

At approximately 1.50pm we were advised a person had been struck by a train at Indooroopilly station.
Police and emergency services are on site. We are working with Police to investigate the incident and we are unable to speculate on the circumstances.
As a result of the incident, services are currently suspended between Milton and Sherwood stations. Ipswich and Springfield line trains will run express from Roma Street to Corinda via the Tennyson loop. Delays of up to 60 minutes are expected.

They don't even need the unions to publicize QR's questionable OTR methods.  Social Media readers do that for them. 

Interstate rail authorities count "train delayed so will run express from Station A to Station F" as delayed on their OTR stats.  QR does not, which is why most people don't believe their OTR stats & occasional "100% OTR" self-promotion. 

Many people have asked QR why they count those (unscheduled express) trains as "on-time" on social media and they have dodged the question on many occasions (instead preferring to do a cut and paste answer about control 'making up time')
