A little bit of coordination between BT and QR would go a long way. Buses from UQ keep offloading more and more people at Park Road with no train to get from there. I got off a 66 that I could have stayed on to Roma Street. No announcements were made by bus drivers or QR staff. The display boards said that an airport train was coming in two minutes. Eventually, a staff member walked up and told us to get the 66 to Roma Street. Simple coordination between the two would lessen the impact for commuters and make it easier for QR to get back to schedule by lightening their load.

Beenleigh and Gold Coast lines

Beenleigh and Gold Coast line trains are currently suspended in both directions between South Brisbane and Yeerongpilly stations due to an overhead power issue at Dutton Park station.

Passengers travelling to stations south of Yeerongpilly can travel from Roma Street to Yeerongpilly via the Tennyson line.

Passengers travelling from the Gold Coast and Beenleigh to the Airport can travel via the Tennyson line through to the Airport.

Technicians are on site, and replacement bus services are in operation

Delays of up to 60 minutes are expected to continue



Cleveland lines

Cleveland line trains are currently suspended in both directions between South Brisbane and Manly stations due to an overhead power issue at Buranda station.

Technicians are onsite, and replacement bus services are currently operating to convey passengers between South Brisbane and Manly stations.

A train shuttle service is operating for passengers travelling between Manly and Cleveland in both directions

Delays of up to 60 minutes are expected to continue.

Airport line trains will continue to travel between Roma Street station and Varsity Lakes station in both directions via the Tennyson line.

Passengers needing to travel to South Brisbane, Southbank, Park Road, Dutton Park, Fairfield, Yeronga or Yeerongpilly should catch the Beenleigh line train from Roma Street station.


Cleveland lines

Cleveland line trains are currently suspended in both directions between Park Road and Murarrie stations due to an overhead power issue at Buranda station.

Technicians are onsite.

Passengers needing to travel to South Brisbane, Southbank & Park Road stations should catch the all stations Beenleigh train from platforms 3 & 4 at Roma Street station

Passengers needing to travel to stations between Park Road and Cleveland stations should catch the all stations Beenleigh train from platforms 3 & 4 at Roma Street and connect with a replacement bus services conveying passangers between Park Road and Murarrie.

A train shuttle service is operating for passengers travelling between Murarrie and Cleveland in both directions

Delays of up to 60 minutes are expected to continue.

Geez, QR really can't catch a break today!  If those reports are true, how the heck did a freight train hit the overheads?  And does that mean QR will try and get repair costs back from the freight train company, I'm assuming it's either Pac Nat or Aurizon?

Now there's a report on the Facebook page (Queensland Rail) of a crash on Wynnum Road, so now the rail replacement buses are stuck!

wow, one of the only days i am not on the train, and look what happens?! somehow i have always managed to avoid the major issues like this.

and to think i was very close this morning to heading in to roma street for my long awaited ride towards the end of the gympie north line! perhaps it was a wise decision to delay the journey yet again!

Been told that there are reports of a telemetry failure on the Ipswich line (I can't see any reports of it on the TL page, but passengers are reporting that announcements of that are being made at Central), along with a boomgate failure at Coorparoo.
